感叹词

一、感叹词的定义：感叹词时表示说话时惊奇、高兴、恐惧、痛苦、赞叹、松一口气等情绪的词，在句子中只能做独立成分。感叹词的含义往往和上下文有一定联系，同一个感叹词在不同的句中，因表示的感情不同，其意义亦不同。感叹词通常位于句首，用逗号或感叹号隔开，意义较强时，用感叹号，否则用逗号。

二、感叹词的基本用法

(一)用作句子的开头

1.表示赞同与不赞同：常用的开头语有yes和no以及两个词的多种变形词。

如：yeah, yep, all right, certainly, OK, sure, enough, very, well, nah, nope等。

2.引起注意：常用的开头语有hello, hey, hi, listen, look, say, tell me和you know等。

3.表示沉默或犹豫：这类词是说话人为了争取时间，调整思绪而发出的声音，常用的有oh, now, ugh, well等。

（二）用于自发性的反应语（感叹词）

这类词或词组表示说话人因惊奇、恐惧、痛苦、悲伤、欢乐、厌恶、愤怒、勉强、怀疑等情绪作出的自然反应，这类词主要有：ah, ha, aha, alsa, oh, ouch, wow, hurrah/hurray, gee, gosh, luckily, why, well, ugh, darn/damn, goodness, my, indeed, heavens, gracious, come on, dear me,/on dear, for shame, oh well等。

（三）常用感叹词用法举例

表示惊奇、恐惧、痛苦、恳求、同意、高兴、松一口气等。

Ah, here you are.啊，原来你在这儿。Ah，good, here’s the bus.啊，太好了，公汽来了。

Ah, it’s just the thing, the very thing.啊，就是这样，要的正式这个。

表示胜利或满意。

Aha, so that’s where she hides her money. 啊哈，原来她把钱藏在这儿了！

Aha, our team won.啊哈，我们队赢了。

表示惊奇、愉快、痛苦等。

Boy, I’m glad to see you! 啊，见到您真高兴！Boy, it sure is hot! 嗬，真够热的！

再见

-I must hurry. I’m late .See you later. —我得赶快走了，我晚了，以后见。

-Bye-bye. —再见。/-Oh, here I am. Bye-bye. —哦，我到站了，再见。

表示促使注意、劝导、不耐烦、鼓励等。

Come, come; it isn’t as bad as that. 好了，好了，并不是那样糟糕嘛。

， dear me， oh dear, (my) goodness等的用法：这些次表示惊异、赞叹、不耐烦、难过等，与汉语的“天啊”有些相似。这类感叹词女性用得比较多。

Oh, dear! What a terrible cough! 噢，天啊！咳嗽得这么厉害！

Oh, dear! What shall I do? 天啊！我该怎么办？Oh, dear! What’s wrong? 哦，天哪！你怎么了？

My goodness! How could you work so fast! 我的天！你怎么干得这么快！

7.在打招呼、打电话时用hello以引起对方的注意。

Hello, John! How are you? 喂，约翰，你好吗？Hello, this is Li Ping speaking.喂，我是李平。

用来引起别人的注意，根据不同情况可有不同的译法。

Here, let me try it. 来，让我试试。Here, you two, run away quickly. 喂，你们两个，快跑开啊！

,hi表示打招呼，引起注意。

Hey, you two! 喂，你们两个。Hey, you’re in my way. 嘿，你挡着我的路了。

意思是“嘘”，“别出声”等。
