128 x 64 dot matrix STN positive yellow mode transflective LCD graphic module. Viewing direction: 6 O’clock.

Driving scheme: 1/64 multiplexed drive, 1/9 bias.

‘Samsung’ KS0107B-PCC (die form) or equivalent dot matrix LCD common driver. ‘Samsung’ KS0108B-PCC (die form) or equivalent dot matrix LCD segment drivers. DC/DC Converter.

Yellow-green LED04 backlight.

2. Mechanical Specifications

The mechanical detail is shown in Fig. 1 and summarized in Table 1 below.

4. Electrical Specifications

4.1 Interface signals

Table 4 Pin Symbol Description No. 1 CSA Chip select 1 for segment driver 1: In order to interface data for input or output. The terminals must be CSA=L, CS1=H. 2 CSB Chip select 2 for segment driver 2:In order to interface data for input or output. The terminals must be CSB=L, CS2=H. 3 VSS Ground: 0V 4 VDD Power supply voltage for internal logic (+5V) 5 V0 External negative power supply voltage for LCD driver. 6 D/I Data or instruction select input D/I = High: Display RAM data on D0-D7. D/I = Low: Instruction data on D0-D7. 7 R/W Read / Write control signal input pin. R/W = High: CPU to read data appearing at DB0 to DB7 while E=H, CSA=L & CS1=H. R/W = Low: Display data of DB0 to DB7 is written at the falling edge of E while E=H, CSA=L & CS1=H. 8 E Chip Enable. E = High: Read mode. Data appears at DB0 to DB7 as E is at high level. E = Low: Write mode.
