摘要：PURPOSE:To readily and inexpensively restore deodorizing effect withoutreplacing a deodorizing filter, by washing a deodorant losing effect by excessive
adsorption with a washing solution. CONSTITUTION:Contaminated air is sucked from thesuction port 16 of the main body 1 of an air purification apparatus 1 by the operation of afan 14 and sent into a deodorizing unit 4 while dust therein is removed by anelectrostatic filter 15 and deodorized through the adsorption of malodorous
components therein by a deodorant 3 such as an adsorbing resin having micropores whilepurified air is blown out from a blow-out port 17. When the deodorant 3 loses
deodorizing effect by excessive adsorption, a valve 10 is opened and a washing solution 2such as alkaline or acidic water is flowed in the deodorizing unit 4 to wash off themalodorous components adsorbed by the deodorant 3. The used washing solution isreceived by a lower receiving tray 11. By this operation, the deodorant 3 restoresdeodorizing effect and again used for deodorizing.
